Interstate Credit Union uses more than one text service, and each serves a different purpose.

You’ll receive general updates, branch notices, community news, and responses to texted keywords (hours, locations, etc.). 

These are not linked to your Online or Mobile Banking account activity.

You can separately set up transaction alerts (low balance, deposits, large withdrawals) when logged into Online or Mobile Banking. These come from our secure banking platform, not the 800-822-1124 number.

For your current balance: Text “BAL” to 39872.

For your recent history: Text “HIST” [your account nickname] to 39872 (ex. HIST C1).

When you log in to Online or Mobile Banking or perform certain account actions, you may get a one-time passcode text from short code 36397. This is only for identity verification.

We will never ask you to reply with that code or share it with anyone.

For Your Security:

The Credit Union will never ask for your account number, user ID, PIN, password, one-time passcode, challenge question answers, account code words, or full Social Security number via text or email. We will not send clickable login links by text. Always log in by typing our website URL directly into your browser. When you contact us by text, we will verify your identity using methods that DO NOT involve your account number. You will not receive sensitive account information from 800-822-1124.
