There are several scams circulating that target you, our credit union members.
Scammers may impersonate credit union employees and trick you into sharing your personal information, account or card numbers, PINs, one-time passcodes, or passwords to gain access to your accounts and steal your money. Scammers may use various methods such as email, text messages, and phone calls to deceive you.
It is important to be cautious and vigilant when receiving unsolicited messages or calls from anyone claiming to be a credit union employee. If you receive such messages, do not provide any personal information, and contact us immediately to verify the authenticity of the message. We may be reached by calling 800-822-1124, emailing info@interstatecu.org, or visiting your local branch.
If you have already fallen victim to a scam, report it to us and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) immediately. You can also visit the FTC’s website for more information on how to protect yourself from scams. Visit https://consumer.ftc.gov/scams
